Aguirre’s work reveals a masterful juxtaposition of traditional craft and digital tools: oil painting, sketching, volumetric capture and VR. Every stage of his process is open to variation. While some images stay natively digital, others are printed and then painted over with traditional oil – adding and subtracting intuitively.
